World food,
in your kitchen.
We research dishes from around the world in the language of the place they come from — local recipes, newspapers and cookbooks — and turn them into recipes you can make at home. This is the front door to our recipe sites.
Our sites

About
worldfoodkitchen.com is the home of several recipe sites about food from around the world. They all follow the same rules:
- We read several recipes written in the dish’s own language before we write ours.
- Amounts are given in grams, milliliters and measuring spoons — not “to taste” or “a pinch”.
- When we explain why a step works, we only say what we can check in food-science books and other sources.
- For hard-to-find ingredients and tools, we suggest substitutes.
